Train On The Road!

Here’s an effective training structure that you can use while you are traveling. Many of our clients travel frequently, and this is how we handle their temporary gym setup.

This format is simple, versatile, time efficient, and can usually be executed in minimally equipped gyms.

We call these circuits 5x5’s.

Five exercises. Five sets.

Here is the structure. You can plug-and-play depending on your equipment availability and your own personal preferences and capacity.

  • Upper Body Exercise

  • Lower Body Exercise

  • Core Exercise

  • Conditioning Element

  • Mobility Element

We typically use lighter weight for these circuits, which works well in most temporary gym setups. The idea with this structure is to cover all our bases and get all our major muscle groups moving. Usually these circuits can be completed in under 40 minutes.

Additionally, this style of circuit is versatile enough that you can choose a variety of exercises over the course of a handful of workouts and maintain a balanced training routine. This can easily bridge the gap during a week of travel.
